If you want to zap the keyboard straight into the left-of-screen position, you can also press and hold Gboard's comma key and then slide your finger over slightly to the right as a shortcut to that shortcut (whoaa.).Įither way you go, you can then use the controls on the screen to adjust the keyboard's placement. You can then dock your fun-sized mini-keyboard to the left or right side of your screen for exceptionally easy access. That'll activate the Gboard one-handed system and shrink your on-screen keyboard down to a smaller size. So the next time one of your grabbers is otherwise occupied, try this: Press and hold Gboard's Enter key for about a second. (Let's keep the specific reasons for that to ourselves, shall we?)
